The 2010 Christmas gathering of the Chamberlain’s was in Fort Worth. I setup my camera and took family portraits as well as the big everybody picture. I processed as many of them as I could bear and did them pretty quickly. See them here.
Christmas in OK, 2010
Penny and I went to Oklahoma just before Christmas. We had a busy schedule while we were there. I got pictures for Noah’s Pre-K Christmas Program, Leon’s College Graduation, Christmas Celebration, and Noah’s Birthday Party.
Chamberlain Thanksgiving
The Chamberlain’s had their usual gathering for Thanksgiving, about 25 people coming together for Food, Fun, and Festivities. We met in Waco, had a nice turkey dinner, played some cards, and threw in a bridal reception for good measure. My photos were a little different this time; I was trying to concentrate on composition and capturing relationships. See them here.
Thanks for the Party!
There’s 46 candles on that cake! They ran out of room and put candles on the sides. :-) We had a silly-good time with a Piñata and Pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. We got lots of black-mail photos of folks acting goofy. Thanks to Penny for getting the house ready and to all the Chamberlains for organizing and bringing great food. I really appreciated the good company, the LED lights and butterflies, the towels, the stool, the cards and the memory.
If you click on the image, you can see pictures of the LED lights and butterflies and a couple of other shots from the last few days.
Congratulations Josh!
Congratulations are in order for Josh. He graduated from high school about a month ago. These are a couple of the pictures I took of him. We had a little party for him with family coming down from Oklahoma. We were happy to see the grandkids again. Pictures of the party and the visit are here.
Snow in Austin
This is a snow flake I grabbed out of the air today while it was snowing in Austin. No really, I did… I couldn’t figure out how to get a video to show up in my photo album, but here it is as a youtube video:
Nothing Says “Thank You” Like Godiva
We had a great weekend taking the grandkids to Incredible Pizza and Games, and as a “Thank You” Hannah and Leon presented us with this decadent surprise.
Christ Giving 2009

We had Penny’s family come to our house to celebrate Thanksgiving, and since we’re unlikely to make it Oklahoma for Christmas this year we also did a little bit of gift opening. Penny came up with “Christ Giving” as a name for combining these holidays. I didn’t spend as much time taking pictures this time, but we got some nice pictures of the grand-kids. Click on through to see the rest.
October Visit to Oklahoma

We made a trip to Norman, OK in October and spent a couple of days with the grand-kids while we were there. We had a great time and got a few great pictures. Noah was really hamming it up so I got a lot of him. I was really excited about the shot of him looking in the tube at the playground. If you click on one of these images you’ll see the rest of the photos.
Independence At Last
It’s been about a month now since Josh got his new car. It’s a Ford Five Hundred. Josh thinks it’s great that he doesn’t have to ask for rides anymore.
